Around 39% of respondents say they would like to help young people with numeracy, career options or mentoring. This was closely followed by environmental work (35%). It's really encouraging to see so many people dedicated to supporting young people and improving the environment. However we would also like to encourage moreemployers to open their doors more widely to increase corporate volunteering with us. Corporate Social Responsibility will never be successful unless there's an emotional commitment from the bottom up, to work towards the day when it becomes the norm for every person to give some of their income to a charitable cause; every young person to volunteer some time while in education; where every employer has a volunteering scheme for their employees, every retired person considers helping others with their life's experience and skills. Many organisations have committed to work with us for one day every year. Your organisation can also work with a community group over a longer period.
